About Bone China
After consumption destroys Louise Pinecroft’s family, her doctor father conducts a radical experiment on sick prisoners in sea caves beneath their Cornish home. Forty years later, Hester Why arrives at Morvoren House to nurse the paralysed and nearly mute Miss Pinecroft. Surrounded by strange rituals, buried guilt and secrets from the old experiment, Hester discovers that the house may be even more dangerous than the past she escaped.
