About The Book of Lost Names
Eva Traube Abrams, now an elderly librarian, recognises a book she has not seen since World War II. In 1942, after fleeing Paris, Eva used her skill at forgery to help Jewish children escape toward Switzerland. As she and Rémy create false papers, they also devise a way to preserve the children’s real names before their identities disappear forever.
