About Ender in Exile
After the life-changing events of Battle School, the children who trained there, now teenagers, must leave the school and readapt to life in the outside world. Having not seen their families or interacted with other people for years, they must decide where to go and what to do next. Ender fought for humanity, but he is now reviled as a ruthless assassin. No longer allowed to live on Earth, he enters exile. With his sister Valentine, he chooses to leave the only home he has ever known and begin a relativistic journey beyond the stars. Ender in Exile tells the story of what happened during the years between Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead, following Ender from the ages of 12 through 35. On one of the ships, there is also a baby who may share the same special gifts as Ender's old friend Bean.
