About Raising Hare
When lockdown takes Chloe Dalton from city life back to the countryside of her childhood, she finds a newborn hare alone and vulnerable. She decides to help the leveret survive while preserving its wildness and preparing it to return to the fields. Her memoir follows the unusual trust that develops between them and the way caring for a wild animal reshapes her attention to the natural world.
