About Pure

In Paris in 1785, Jean-Baptiste Baratte is ordered to empty Les Innocents, an overflowing cemetery poisoning the neighbourhood’s air and water. What begins as a rational project to clear away the past becomes a year of unrest, danger, friendship, desire and sudden violence on the cusp of the French Revolution.
