About Fix the System, Not the Women
Bates shifts attention from women's choices to the structures that constrain them. Through testimony and evidence, she examines gender bias across education, politics, media, policing and criminal justice, then makes the case for institutional reform rather than expecting individuals to fix inequality alone.
